BALTIMORE, Md. – The Keystone College women's lacrosse team held off Notre Dame of Maryland 13-12 in CSAC action on Wednesday.
With the win, the Giants improve to 2-0 CSAC (3-5 overall) and will return home to host Cedar Crest on Saturday, April 15 at 1 p.m. for Senior Day. The Gators drop to 1-9 (0-2 CSAC).
Makayla Batts (New Oxford, Pa./New Oxford) and Lillian Kennedy-Butler (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll School) each recorded a hat trick while Kennedy-Butler notched six draw controls. Miranda Mascia (Blakeslee, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) and Hailey Dunham (Southgate, Mich./Inter-City Baptist) tallied two goals apiece while Vicky Mainero (Francisco Alvarez, Buenos Aires, Argentina/St. Patrick's College), Meaghan Drennan (Drums, Pa./Hazleton Area) and Belen Rodriguez (Caballito, Buenos Aires, Argentina/Colegio Santa Brígida) tallied scores.
Hannah Osbahr (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) made 10 saves in the win.
Keystone led 8-4 at halftime and was up 13-9 with 8:51 in regulation after a goal by Drennan. The Gators scored three unanswered goals but Keystone held on for its second CSAC win of the year.
For NDM, Jade Stewart tallied four goals and six points.
