ROSEMONT, Pa. - The No 4 seed Keystone College men's lacrosse team fell at No. 1 seed Rosemont College 21-8 in the CSAC semifinals on Wednesday night.
The Giants (0-12) will head to No. 3 seed Bryn Athyn College (3-6) on Saturday, April 29 in the CSAC third-place game. The Lions fell to No. 2 seed Cairn 9-7 in the other semifinal contest.
Izaiah Simon (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock Area) tallied two goals for Keystone while Anthony Hott (Warminster, Pa./William Tennet) finished with one score and two assists.
Sean Ott (Philadelphia, Pa./Franklin Towne) and Gage Foley (Lacombe, Alberta, Canada/Lacombe Composite) tallied one goal and one assist each while Cody Dembski (Agoura Hills, Calif./Agoura), Ryan Smith (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) and Tyler McManus (East Meadow, N.Y./East Meadow) all provided goals. Dembski paced Keystone with 20 ground balls, going 25-of-31 on faceoff opportunities.
Jose Luis Servin (Manassas City, Va./Osbourn) made 16 stops in the cage.
For the Ravens (5-8), Liam O'Connor scored a game-high five goals. Rosemont bounced out to a 7-1 lead after the first quarter and held an 11-4 halftime lead.
