BRYN ATHYN, Pa.- The Keystone College men's lacrosse team were defeated by Bryn Athyn College 17-6 Saturday afternoon in the CSAC third-place game. With the loss, the Giants end the 2023 campaign at 0-13 while Bryn Athyn finishes their season at 4-7.  

Izaiah Simon (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock Area) tallied a hat trick and one assist in his final game as a Keystone Giant. Ryan Smith (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) scored two goals and Tyler McManus (East Meadow, N.Y./East Meadow) added a goal for Keystone. Gage Foley (Lacombe, Alberta, Canada/Lacombe Composite) chipped in with one assist. Cody Dembski (Agoura Hills, Calif./Agoura) won 18 faceoffs and had 13 ground balls in the consolation game. Jose Luis Servin (Manassas City, Va./Osbourn) made 13 saves in goal.  

For Bryn Athyn, Joe Nugent notched a golden sombrero with six goals and two assists for eight points. Nicholas Yi and Jamal White combined for eight goals White posted a game high five assists.  

Bryn Athyn outshot Keystone 45-33, but Keystone had the upper hand on ground balls, 27-22. The Giants were 7-for-8 on clear attempts.
