Women’s Lacrosse Drops Final Home Game of the Season

LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's lacrosse team suffered a 15-4 CSAC loss to Wilson College in the team's final home game of the 2023 season Wednesday afternoon. With the loss, Keystone goes to 4-5 (3-1 CSAC) while Wilson moves to 10-4 (3-1 CSAC).

Lillian Kennedy-Butler (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll School) led the Giants with two goals and four ground balls. Makayla Batts (New Oxford, Pa./New Oxford) added one goal and an assist. Meaghan Drennan (Drums, Pa./Hazleton Area) also scored a goal for Keystone. Also, Drennan had a game high seven ground balls.  Hannah Osbahr (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) made seven saves in goal as well as six ground balls.

For Wilson, the Phoenix were led by Jill Ahlgren who notched a hat trick with one assist. In addltion, Alghren also seven ground balls and won seven draw controls. Emily Young and Paige Reynolds each scored wo goals for the Phoenix.

Wilson outshout Keystone 27-21, but Keystone posted a 31-23 margin on ground balls. The Giants were 50 percent from clear attempts.

Keystone will wrap up the regular season on the road as they face the defending CSAC Champions Bryn Athyn College on Saturday, Apr. 29 at 12 p.m. Wilson concludes their regular season at home hosting Notre Dame of Maryland University on the same day at 11 a.m.
