Box Score WILKES-BARRE, Pa.- The Keystone College men's soccer team dropped a road nonconference match to King's College (Pa.) 2-1 Saturday afternoon at McCarthy Stadium.
Keystone falls to 0-6-1 while King's snaps a two-game skid and moves to 2-4.
After being held scoreless in the first half and majority of the second, the Giants got on the score column as Francois Elize (Fresno, Tex./Lee) tallied his first goal of the year in the 72nd minute. Hector Camaja Jr. (Palisades Park, N.J./Palisades Park) made his return in goal as he made six saves this afternoon.
Two King's men's soccer players scored off the bench as Chris Vollrath and Mike Davies provided the two goals for the Monarchs. Vollrath's goal occurred in the 28th minute off an assist from Liam Yair. Davies goal came in the 39th minute.
King's had a 21-9 margin on shots and a 6-4 advantage on corner kicks. Elize led Keystone with a match high of six shots in the defeat.
Keystone will head to the Electric City to face the University of Scranton on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m.
