LA PLUME, PA- The Keystone College men's soccer team is headed to the United East Conference playoffs, with the Giants set to travel to Lancaster Bible College for a quarterfinal matchup on Saturday, October 31, at 1 PM. Keystone enters the eight-team tournament as the No. 6 seed and will take on the third-seeded Chargers at Donald H. Funk Field at Willis & Martha Herr Stadium in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Keystone's road to the postseason featured important wins both at home and away from La Plume. After a challenging opening stretch, the Giants picked up their first victory with a 2–1 win at Penn State Schuylkill on September 16. Keystone followed that performance with a 3–0 shutout of SUNY Cobleskill three days later, earning consecutive victories heading toward conference play.

The Giants carried that momentum into their United East schedule, opening with back-to-back road shutouts. Keystone defeated Wilson College 3–0 on September 26 before recording a 2–0 victory at Penn State Brandywine on September 29. Those results gave the Giants an early foothold in the conference standings and provided valuable points in their pursuit of a playoff berth.

Another key conference victory came on October 7, when Keystone shut out Cairn University 2–0 in La Plume. Dary Hodge-Davila (Riverview, FL/Riverview) broke a scoreless tie in the 63rd minute off an assist from Barrett Wood (Norfolk, VA/Matthew Fontaine Maury), and Aiden Cummings (Baltimore, MD/Mount Saint Joseph) added an insurance goal in the closing minutes. James Kallens (Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central Regional) stopped all three shots he faced on goal as the Giants improved to 3–1 in conference play.

Down the stretch, Keystone added a 2–1 road victory over Notre Dame of Maryland University on October 17. The Giants went on to secure a postseason berth and finish their United East schedule with a 4–4 record, earning the opportunity to extend their season into the conference tournament.

Cummings enters the postseason with eight goals after scoring the equalizer in Keystone's regular-season finale against McDaniel College on Wednesday. His second-half finish brought the Giants level at 1–1 before the visitors pulled ahead for a 2–1 final. Keystone now turns its attention to Saturday and a chance to advance against a familiar conference opponent.

The quarterfinal matchup marks the second meeting between Keystone and Lancaster Bible this season. The teams played a scoreless opening half in their October 13 contest before the Chargers scored twice after halftime. Kallens recorded four saves in that meeting, while the Giants generated five second-half shots and five corner kicks. Saturday offers Keystone another opportunity against Lancaster Bible, this time with a semifinal berth on the line.

The four quarterfinal winners will advance to the United East semifinals on Tuesday, November 3, with the two highest remaining seeds hosting. The championship match is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, at the higher remaining seed, with the winner earning the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship.
