WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.- The Keystone College football team will be on road for week eight as they go up against Lycoming College on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m.
Keystone
Keystone enters this game with a 1-6 overall record (0-3 Landmark). The team suffered a 69-24 loss to Wilkes back in week seven. Donald Leach III (Harrisburg, Pa./Susquehanna Township) threw for 270 yards with two interceptions and also had a rushing touchdown. Stephen Tatum (Baltimore, Md./Edmundson) recorded a one-yard rushing touchdown. Da'Juan Vales tallied a game high 126 receiving yards.
Devin Montgomery (Waldorf, Md./Potomac) and Nicholas DeFrancesco (Quarryville, Pa./Solanco) both contributed with nine tackles. Quentin Tibbs (New Brunswick, N.J./New Brunswick), CJ Riccobono (New Hyde Park, N.Y./New Hyde Park Memorial), and Shakur Carter (Collingswood, N.J./Collingswood) posted six tackles.
Jayson Nami (Freehold Township, N.J./Freehold Township) enjoyed a solid outing on kickoff returns as he had six returns for 168 yards which was highlighted by a 90-yard kickoff return touchdown. Jeremiah Ortiz (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) punted seven times for 216 yards and converted a 21-yard field goal.
Lycoming
Lycoming College (2-4; 0-2 Landmark) suffered a narrow 14-12 setback to Catholic University. The Warriors trailed 14-6 at the end of the first half. The team scored a touchdown with a few seconds remaining in the game to make cut their deficit to two. They went for the two-point conversion following the score, but were unsuccessful.
Sophomore quarterback Jay Huber was 27-of-51 for 280 yards and one touchdown. Dawson Debebe had a game high 137 receiving yards with one score. Terrence Oliver rushed for 97 yards.
Defensively, Joey Rivituso posted nine total tackles. Ryan Pentz recorded two interceptions while Chris Kerns had one. Kicker Kyle Flack was a perfect 3-for-3 on field goal tries.
