LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College football team suffered a 55-14 loss to Moravian University in their conference opener Saturday afternoon at the Keystone College Turf Field.
Keystone falls to 1-4 (0-1 Landmark) with Moravian improving 3-2 (1-0 Landmark).
Mujaheed Muhammad (Philadelphia, Pa./Paul Robeson) rushed for 93 yards with one touchdown. Jorden Cook (New Paltz, N.Y./New Paltz) contributed with a six-yard rushing touchdown. Donald Leach III (Harrisburg, Pa./Susquehanna Township) threw for 180 yards with two picks.
Defensively, Quentin Tibbs (New Brunswick, N.J./New Brunswick) and Tyler Malanga (Monroe, N.J./Monroe Twp.) had six tackles while CJ Riccobono (New Hyde Park, N.Y./New Hyde Park Memorial) had five. Tibbs, Isaiah Davis (Philadelphia, Pa./William Penn), and Sean Diven (Haddon Heights, N.J./Haddon Heights) each had a sack.
For the visiting Greyhounds, quarterback Jared Jenkins had a big day throwing for 375 yards and four touchdowns. Receiver Diego Del Castillo recorded 152 yards with two touchdowns Antonio Bowen and Ty Sander each had an interception.
The Giants will hit the road next week as they square off with No. 10 Susquehanna University on Oct. 12 at 1 p.m.
