WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.- The Keystone College wrestling team had five wrestlers place in the top six at the Rennie Rodramel All-State Invitational Sunday morning at Lycoming College.
As a team, Keystone placed fifth out of the nine teams that competed with 75.5 points.
CJ Riccobono (New Hyde Park, N.Y./New Hyde Park Memorial) finished second at a 157 pounds as he picked up a win by tech fall, fall, and decision. Derrick DeMann (Montrose, Pa./Montrose Area) and Nero Bono (Southboro, Mass./Assabet Valley) both finished third at 184 and 197 pounds respectively. DeMann won both of his matches by fall while Bono received victories by fall and tech fall.
Rocco Arduini (Harpursville, N.Y./Harpursville) and Malachi Jones (Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown) both earned a fourth-place finish at this morning's invitational. At 285 pounds, Arduini won his match by forfeit. Jones grabbed a win by tech fall at 133 pounds.
The Giants return to the mat on Wednesday, Feb. 7 when they host the University of Scranton at 6 p.m. Results of the invitational can be found in the article.
