LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's lacrosse team fell at home to Husson 11-6 Sunday morning.
Keystone falls to 2-3 while Husson moves to 3-3.
Abe Wallace (Okotoks, Alberta, Canada/Foothills Composite) tallied a hat trick and three ground balls. Tyler McManus (East Meadow, N.Y./East Meadow) recorded two goals and three groundballs. Ryan Smith (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) had one goal and an assist. Tyler Shertzer (Palmyra, Pa./Palmyra Area) caused four turnovers and had six ground balls.
Husson's Matt Boynton and Kolton Gillian both had tricks and two assists. Jacob Sargent and and Dean Sinkler each scored twice. Owen Giorgio tallied seven caused turonvers and ground balls. In addition, he chipped in with one goal and two assists.
With the game tied at five after the first half, the Eagles went on a 6-1 run in the second half to pull away with the victory. Husson narrowly outshot Keystone, 39-30.
The Giants will host Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts on Wednesday, Mar. 13 at 1 p.m.
