LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's lacrosse team dropped a home contest to JWU Providence by a score of 18-10 Friday afternoon.
Keystone drops to 2-2 while JWU picked up their first win of the season and move to 1-1.
Cam Wallace (Okotoks, Alberta, Canada/Foothills Composite) led Keystone with four goals and three assists. Wilson Ingalls (Okotoks, Alberta, Canada/Holy Trinity Academy) tallied a hat trick and Abe Wallace (Okotoks, Alberta, Canada/Foothills Composite) added two goals and one assists. Ryan Smith (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) chipped in with a goal. Cody Dembski (Agoura Hills, Calif./Agoura) won 17 faceoffs and recorded seven ground balls. Edwin Himmel-Maines (Fawn Grove, Pa./Kennard-Dale) made 22 saves in goal.
Donny McInnis and Greg Centeio had a big day for the Wildcats as the two combined for 10 goals and six assists. Jack Davis, Mike Catuosco both scored twice.
The Wildcats outshot the Giants, 58-38. JWU Providence won the ground ball battle, 58-45. Keystone was 72 percent (23-of-32) on clear attempts.
Keystone will host Husson University on Sunday, Mar. 10 at 11 a.m.
