Box Score MADISON, N.J.- The Keystone College baseball team squared off with Saint Elizabeth University on the road Friday afternoon for the first of three meetings this weekend. The Giants wasted no time filling up the scoreboard, scoring ten runs between the first four innings. From there, the team never looked back and took down the Eagles, 11-1.
Keystone improves to 22-10 with the win (11-2 United East) while Saint Elizabeth is now 8-22 (4-9 United East).
Jacob Yager (Grahamsville, N.Y./Tri-Valley) led the way on offense going 3-for-3 at the plate with five RBI. The junior had two home runs this afternoon. Bobby Pokorney (Margate, Fla./J.P. Taravella) and Cooper Fesh (Bethel, Conn./Bethel) each contributed two hits and an RBI.
Sean Brennan (Hatfield, Pa./North Penn) got the start on the mound and struck out ten batters in five innings pitched. Slothing Che (Santo Domingo, D.R./Instituto Tecnologico Fabio Amable Mota) made an appearance on the mound for an inning and recorded a strikeout. Cam Hale (Covington, Wash./Kentridge) also pitched an inning and racked up two strikeouts.
Keystone will be back at home tomorrow for a doubleheader beginning at 12:00 p.m. against Saint Elizabeth.
