LA PLUME, Pa.- Keystone College welcomed UFC veteran and Northeast Pennsylvania native Jimy Hettes to campus on Saturday for an exclusive wrestling clinic with the college's wrestling team. The event, held at the Gambal Athletic Center in La Plume, Pa., provided student-athletes with the opportunity to train under one of the region's most accomplished mixed martial artists.

Hettes, a former UFC featherweight competitor and accomplished grappler, shared his expertise in wrestling transitions, takedown techniques, and mat control. Known for his technical precision and grappling acumen, Hettes emphasized fundamentals, mindset, and the crossover between traditional wrestling and modern MMA.

"Being able to come back to my roots and work with college athletes who are passionate about wrestling is incredibly rewarding," said Hettes. "Keystone's program has a lot of potential, and it's exciting to see the level of dedication these wrestlers bring to the mat."

Keystone College Head Wrestling Coach, Drew Feldman, said the clinic was an invaluable experience for his athletes. "Having someone with Jimmy's experience and background share his knowledge helps our team grow—not just as wrestlers, but as competitors," Feldman stated. "Our athletes learned a lot from his approach to both training and competition."

The clinic is part of Keystone College's ongoing effort to provide hands-on development opportunities for student-athletes by connecting them with professional athletes and coaches who exemplify excellence in their respective sports.
