LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball team dropped an 88-62 decision to Misericordia University, Monday afternoon.
Tyler Ditton (Fulton, N.Y./G. Ray Bodley) paced Keystone with 19 points, which included four three-pointers. Jden Golding (Jacksonville, Fla./Clay) finished with 13 points, four assists and six steals. Conor Patton (Falls Church, Va./McLean) added nine points off the bench.
Misericordia was led by Matt Prociak's 18 points and nine rebounds, while Jack Gallagher recorded a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Eli Stoute chipped in 14 points as the Cougars showcased balanced scoring, with five players reaching double figures.
Misericordia (7-1) jumped out in front from the opening minutes, capitalizing on efficient shooting and work on the glass. Keystone battled through the first half and showed flashes of rhythm offensively, but the Cougars closed the period strong to carry a 47–35 lead into halftime.
The second half belonged to the Cougars, which tightened its defense and limited Keystone's looks. The Giants struggled to find consistency after the break, shooting under 25 percent in the half as Misericordia used rebounding and ball movement to extend the lead.
Misericordia finished with a 53–35 edge on the boards and posted a 17-8 margin on second chance points.
Keystone (2-8) hosts Nazareth University tomorrow night at 7 p.m.
