Giants Travelling to Ohio for First Round of NCAA Regionals

 GRANVILLE, Ohio- The Keystone College baseball team will be facing Penn State Behrend in the first round of the NCAA Regionals as Denison will be serving as the host site.

No. 24/RV Keystone (35-9) captured its 20th straight and second United East Conference title on Sunday as they defeated Penn State Harrisburg, 6-3. Andy Rivas (Bronx, N.Y./Academy for Language and Technology) was named United East Tournament MVP as he recorded three RBI in the championship.

RV Penn State Behrend (30-9) won its second consecutive Allegheny Mountain College Conference (AMCC) championship with an 8-2 win over Alfred State. Daniel Boehme, Hank Shaffer, and Jack Baumgartel were named to the All-Tournament Team.

No. 4/5 Denison (35-5) is a host institution for the fourth consecutive season. The Big Red won the North Coast Athletic Conference (NACC) 10-5 against The College of Wooster, marking the sixth straight NACC championship. Five Denison players were voted to the NACC All-Tournament Team.

Manchester (29-12) wraps up the bracket as the Spartans brought home the HCAC title as they took down Transylvania 7-3 in the conference final. Max Horner earned tournament MVP while Rocco Haines and Joel Kennedy headlined the HCAC All-Tournament Team.
