Six Giants Named All-Region by ABCA/Rawlings

LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College baseball team had six players who received ABCA/Rawlings All-Region 4 accolades announced by the organization Tuesday afternoon.

Sean Brennan (Hatfield, Pa./North Penn) and Andy Rivas (Bronx, N.Y./Academy for Language and Technology) received first team honors while Chase Boyle (Millsboro, Del./Sussex Central), Robert Estrada (Maracay, Venezuela/James J. Ferris), Nate Ewing (Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore Area), and Quinn Holt (North Wales, Pa./North Penn) were named second team.

Rivas was sensational this season as he led the team in almost every statistical category. He batted .441 with 13 home runs and 62 RBI. Rivas posted a slugging percentage of .838 and an OPS of 1.353. The senior catcher received First Team All-United East honors and was named the United East Conference Tournament MVP.

Brennan went 9-1 in 13 starts where he concluded the year with a 3.26 ERA, 72 strikeouts, and 25 walks. The senior was named United East Conference Pitcher of the Year along being first team all-conference.

Boyle snagged second team all-region as the senior third baseman batted .416 with one home run and 37 RBI. Similar to Brennan and Rivas, he was a first-team All-United East recipient.

Estrada picks up his first career all-region award. He recorded a .378 batting average with two home runs and 30 RBI. He was a Third Team All-United East honoree.

Ewing batted .358 with three home runs and 37 RBI while appearing and starting in 47 games. He grabbed first team all-conference honors.

Holt came off a stellar season on the mound. The senior right-handed pitcher went 6-0 and had a 3.06 ERA. He struck out 55 batters in 53 innings of work. Holt was selected second team from the United East Conference at the conclusion of the 2025 campaign.

The Chair of the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee is Paul Hesse of the University of Mount Union. Also on the committee are Brian Casey (U.S. Coast Guard Academy), Pete Egbert (Misericordia University), Dan Gomez (Western New England University), Ray Hedrick (Randolph-Macon College), Luke Johnson (North Park University), Scott Laverty (Chapman University), Yogi Lutz (Alvernia University), Nick Pontari (Russell Sage College), and Kevin Tomasiewicz (University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh).

The ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-America teams will be announced the evening of Thursday, May 29 immediately following the Opening Ceremony at the 2025 NCAA Div. III World Series in Eastlake, Ohio. Only First Team All-Region selections are eligible for All-America honors.

The ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams for all divisions will be announced on Wednesday, June 18. The 2025 ABCA NCAA Div. III Region All-Defensive teams will be announced on Thursday, June 19.

The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now includes nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first recognized in 2007.
