GREENWOOD, Ind.- Darren Hagan (Aston, Pa./Garnet Valley) of the Keystone College baseball team was selected Academic All-District® by College Sports Communicators, announced Tuesday afternoon.

To be chosen, a student-athlete had to have been at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), and must have competed in 90 percent of the games or must have started at least 66 percent of the games for their team.

This is the second academic all-district award for Hagan. The senior outfielder just graduated from Keystone with a bachelor's degree in sport and recreation management. He ended his undergraduate career with a 3.87 cumulative GPA.

Hagan appeared and started in 35 games where he tallied a .312 batting average with two home runs and 27 RBI. He was named First Team All-United East for the second straight time. Hagan was also the recipient of the N. Scott Thurston Academic Award which went to one female and one male Keystone student athlete who excelled athletically and academically.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
