LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's soccer team opened the 2025 season in dominating fashion with a 7-0 win over Penn State Schuylkill Saturday afternoon.
Lenskey Raoul (Neptune Township, N.J./Neptune) opened the scoring with his first collegiate goal in the 12th minute off a feed from Chris Roca (Palisades Park, N.J./Palisades Park). Raoul would find Leo Arrieta (Miami, Fla./Miami Killian) who scored his first goal of the season in the 19th minute.
The match would remain a two-goal lead until Keystone tallied five unanswered in the second half. Keon Morris (Tobyhanna, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) scored his first collegiate in the 56th minute off a goal kick from Schuylkill which landed right at hos foot. Bethson Fuentes (Dale City, Va./Garfield) provided a penalty kick goal 46 seconds later. A Nittany Lion own goal occur in the 61st minute.
Roca kept the offense going as he found the back of the net in the 79th minute off a free kick. Raoul concluded the scoring with his second goal of the day in the 81st minute from a pass from Carter Simmons (San Antonio, Tex./Pieper).
Freshman goalkeeper Kolten McVean (Dickinson, Tex./Dickinson) made two saves in his collegiate debut.
The Giants dominated in shots, 35-9, and corner kicks, 10-1.
Keystone (1-0) hosts Elmira College tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m.
