LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's wrestling team earned a split on its home mat Tuesday afternoon, defeating Penn State Altoona 36-6 before falling to a strong SUNY Oneonta squad 47-12 in a competitive tri-meet inside the Gambal Athletic Center.

The Giants built an early cushion thanks to forfeits at 133, 141, 149, 197, and 285.
The highlight came at 165 pounds, where Codi Bomboy (Montrose, Pa./Elk Lake) delivered one of the meet's most explosive moments, pinning Altoona's Gonzalo Santana Hernandez in just 1:09 to fire up the home crowd.
The Nittany Lions picked up one win at 184, but Keystone sealed the dual comfortably, earning a commanding victory.

After Oneonta jumped out to a fast start with wins at 125 and 133, Keystone answered with one of the most exciting bouts of the day at 141, where Ralph Nieves (Philadelphia, Pa./Northeast) flipped momentum in Keystone's favor. Nieves secured a second-period fall at 4:57.
The Red Dragons then surged ahead with a series of bonus-point victories, but Keystone continued to battle. At 197, Nero Bono (Southboro, Mass./Assabet Valley) came through with a dominant performance, recording a pin at 1:36 to give Keystone its second victory of the dual and cap the Giants' scoring.
