ITHACA, NY- The Giants jumped right back to their winning ways against Ithaca College, taking down the Bombers 8-2. The Giants, now sitting at 20-8 on the season, showcase their offensive and defensive prowess in the dominating win.

The Giants tallied the first run of the game in the first inning of play, when Dante Ruby (Archbald, Pa./Valley View) sent a ball over the center field wall, claiming the early lead. The Giants defense stood tall through the first three innings, allowing just one hit through the first third of the game.Â
The fourth inning once more saw the Giants showcase their offensive skills, starting with a Colson Bennett (Camden, Del./Caesar Rodney) single to right field, pushing Benny Hess (Reading, Ohio/Reading Community) across the plate for the second run of the contest. Dee Rice (Spartanburg, S.C./Dorman) played hero ball once more, singling to center field, scoring Colson Bennett (Camden, Del./Caesar Rodney), Ethan Schimony (State College, Pa./State College Area), and Ray Moreta (Bergenfield, N.J./Bergenfield). Keystone held the 5-0 lead heading into the fifth inning.
The Bombers finally got their offense to click in the fifth inning, having just two hits on the day prior. Ithaca notched two runs in the inning, to cut the deficit down to three.
The teams went quiet in the sixth inning, before the Giants broke the game open once more, starting when Colson Bennett (Camden, Del./Caesar Rodney) reached on a fielder's choice, scoring both Dillion Bird (Westlake, La./Sulphur) and Ray Moreta (Bergenfield, N.J./Bergenfield). Ethan Schimony (State College, Pa./State College Area) scored on a called balk later in the inning for Keystone's final run of the contest.Â
The Giants pitching unit finished off the Bombers last three innings allowing just one hit to close the door on Ithaca 8-2.
Keystone returns home for senior day on April 18 as the team takes on Penn State Berks in a United East Conference showdown. KC stays home for back-to-back games against The College of New Jersey on April 21, before wrapping up their four game home stand against SUNY Cobleskill on April 22.
