LA PLUME, PA- Malcolm Boone's four-year career with the Keystone College men's basketball program was defined by production, leadership and a commitment to helping the Giants reach new heights.

As Keystone Athletics counts down to the 2026 Hall of Fame induction ceremony on October 9, the department will highlight one member of this year's Hall of Fame Class each Friday. The series begins with Boone, who will be joined in the Class of 2026 by Hope Santana (Krolewski), Brian Slater and the 2016 Keystone baseball team.

Boone, a 2012 Keystone graduate, competed for the Giants from 2008-09 through 2011-12 and finished his career with 1,074 points and 683 rebounds. He also established himself as one of the top defensive players in program history, recording a program-record 206 career blocked shots.

A member of Keystone's 1,000-point club, Boone consistently played a key role in the Giants' success throughout his career. Keystone qualified for the conference playoffs in each of his four seasons, advancing to the semifinals twice.

The Giants reached new territory during Boone's senior season.

Serving as a team captain, Boone helped lead Keystone to its first appearance in the CSAC Championship Game. Along the way, he produced one of the most memorable individual performances of his career against Cabrini, which went on to finish as the NCAA Division III national runner-up.

Boone recorded 24 points, seven rebounds and seven blocked shots in the contest, showcasing his ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor.

His accomplishments extended beyond his statistics and success on the court. Boone was also the recipient of the N. Scott Thurston Award, recognizing his achievements in academics, leadership and character.

Following his time at Keystone, Boone continued his basketball career in Germany before turning his attention toward health, wellness and personal development. He later founded Breathing is Freedom LLC, focusing on breathwork and wellness education.

Boone's accomplishments have continued to be recognized since his playing days. In 2020, he was inducted into the Warwick Valley High School Hall of Fame.

More than a decade after completing his collegiate career, Boone will now receive one of the highest honors from his alma mater.

Boone is set to be inducted into the Keystone College Athletics Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026 on October 9 at 5 p.m.

From his 1,074 career points and 683 rebounds to his program-record 206 blocks and role in leading Keystone to its first CSAC Championship Game appearance, Boone's impact on Giants basketball remains firmly established in the program's history.
