LA PLUME, PA- Keystone College is proud to announce the members of its 2026 Athletics Hall of Fame class, recognizing a distinguished group of former student-athletes whose accomplishments and impact have left a lasting mark on Keystone Athletics.

The 2026 class features three individual student-athletes, as well as the 2016 baseball team. From standout performances on the fields and courts to contributions that have helped shape the college's programs, this year's inductees have each made their mark on the Giants legacy. The 2026 Keystone College Athletics Hall of Fame class includes Hope Santana (Krolewski) (field hockey), Malcolm Boone (men's basketball), Brian Slater (track and field), and the 2016 baseball team.

"This Hall of Fame class represents everything we hope our student-athletes become. It is especially meaningful to recognize a class that includes so many people that I have had the chance to know personally," stated Director of Athletics Kacy Manning. "What stands out most isn't just what they accomplished in competition, but the people they've become. They helped shape Keystone Athletics during their time here, and they continue to make a positive impact in their careers, their communities, and as proud representatives of Keystone College. That is what makes this class so special."

The Keystone College Athletics Hall of Fame Class will be inducted on October 9 at 5 p.m.

Hope Santana (Krolewski) – Field Hockey, 2009-12

A 2013 graduate of Keystone College, Hope is one of the most accomplished field hockey players in program history. A two-time Keystone College Female Keystonian Award winner, she was named CSAC Player of the Year and earned First Team All-CSAC and Longstreth/NFHCA South Atlantic All-Region Second Team honors.

In 2012, Hope started all 18 games and set program single-season records with 19 goals, 12 assists and 50 points. She also recorded four game-winning goals and led the team with 113 shots, including 66 shots on goal. She earned CSAC Player of the Week honors on October 15 and was named to the conference's Player of the Week Honor Roll twice. Her 19 goals and 12 assists remain Keystone single-season records.

A two-time Second Team All-CSAC selection prior to her senior season, Hope led Keystone in goals in 2011 with 13 and assists in both 2010 and 2011. She concluded her career as Keystone's all-time leader in goals (39) and assists (28), leaving a lasting mark on the program's record book.

Off the field, Hope earned recognition on the CSAC All-Academic Team and the NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad. Following graduation, she moved to Orlando, Florida, and built a career in education, spending seven years teaching at a Title I elementary school before moving into district-level Multilingual Services, where she currently supports schools, educators and multilingual learners.

The lessons Hope learned as a Keystone student-athlete—including hard work, resilience, teamwork and leadership—have continued to shape her career and life. She has also maintained a lasting relationship with former head coach Kacy Manning and her family, whose support and guidance remained an important part of her life long after her playing career ended.

Malcolm Boone – Men's Basketball, 2008-12

A 2012 graduate of Keystone College, Malcolm Boone established himself as one of the most dominant and impactful players in the history of the Giants men's basketball program during his four-year career from 2008-09 through 2011-12. A force on both ends of the floor, Boone combined scoring, rebounding and elite rim protection to become one of the defining players of his era.

Boone capped his career as a First Team All-CSAC selection and member of Keystone's prestigious 1,000-point club, finishing with 1,074 career points and 683 rebounds. He also left his mark defensively, graduating as the program's all-time leader in blocked shots with 206 while ranking among the program's career leaders in rebounds and free throws made.

As a senior captain, Boone helped guide the Giants to the program's first CSAC Championship Game appearance. Throughout his career, Keystone qualified for the conference playoffs in all four seasons, advancing to the semifinals twice before reaching the championship game in his final season. During that championship run, Boone delivered one of the finest performances in program history, recording 24 points, seven rebounds and seven blocked shots against eventual NCAA Division III National Championship runner-up Cabrini.

Boone's impact extended beyond the court. A respected leader, teammate and student, he received the N. Scott Thurston Award, recognizing excellence in academics, leadership and character.

Following graduation, Boone continued his basketball career professionally in Germany before turning his focus to empowering others through health, wellness and personal development. He is the founder of Breathing is Freedom LLC, an organization dedicated to helping individuals improve their physical and mental well-being through breathwork and wellness education. Boone was also inducted into the Warwick Valley High School Hall of Fame in 2020.

Brian Slater – Track and Field, 2008-12

A 2013 graduate of Keystone College, Brian was one of the top sprinters in program history during his four-year career from 2008-12. A six-time Mason-Dixon All-Conference honoree, Slater was the 200-meter conference champion and a two-time NCAA Division III National Qualifier. He earned All-Conference recognition in the 100 meters, 200 meters and 4x100-meter relay as a senior in 2012.

Slater set 12 school records during his Keystone career and recorded the program's top indoor and outdoor 200-meter marks, running 22.65 indoors and 21.83 outdoors. The 21.83 outdoor mark and 22.65 indoor mark still stand as Keystone College records.

Following his career at Keystone, Slater continued in track and field as both a competitor and coach, including representing the U.S. Virgin Islands at the international level and later serving as a collegiate track and field coach. Since beginning his coaching career, Slater has mentored 13 national qualifiers, coached eight NCAA Division III New England Regional qualifiers, guided more than 20 individuals to conference championship honors and led his teams to three conference team titles. Since 2023, he has served as the head men's and women's track and field coach at Methodist University, where his athletes have earned USA South All-Conference and USTFCCCA All-Region recognition.

In 2026, Slater led the Methodist men's program to the ECAC Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship, where the Monarchs finished first among 12 teams. He was subsequently named the 2026 Methodist University Thomas R. and Elizabeth E. McLean Foundation Coach of the Year.

2016 Baseball Team

The 2016 Keystone College baseball team put together the most successful season in program history, finishing 40-11 overall and 15-3 in CSAC play. The Giants captured their eighth consecutive CSAC championship and 12th overall conference title before advancing to the NCAA Division III World Series.

Keystone won the NCAA New England Regional Championship by sweeping all four games at the regional tournament. The Giants then won three straight games at the World Series to claim the Pool B bracket and advance to the best-of-three national championship series, ultimately finishing as the NCAA Division III National Runner-Up.

The team featured two ABCA/Rawlings Third Team All-Americans in Chris Triano and Felix Baez. Triano was named both the CSAC Championship MVP and NCAA New England Regional MVP, while Baez earned CSAC Pitcher of the Year honors and was named the ABCA/Rawlings Mid-Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Year.

The 2016 Giants enter the Keystone College Athletics Hall of Fame following a historic season that brought a conference championship, NCAA regional title and national runner-up finish.
