La PLUME, Pa. - Dec. 8, 2018 - The Keystone College wrestling program hosted the Alumni & Friends Duals on Saturday, competing against Thaddeus Stevens, Penn College & SUNY Ulster.

The Giants earned a 30-10 victory over Thaddeus Stevens and defeated SUNY Ulster 33-12 before falling to Penn College 29-17.

Against SUNY Ulster, junior Ryan Celenza (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) pinned John Miller in :22 at 14, while sophomore Colby Bronzburg (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg) pined Jacob Studt in :37 at 149.

Also against the Senators, freshman Jason Jones (Hellertown, Pa/Saucon Valley) defeated Marques Randolph 18-0 by technical fall (1:32) at 157 while freshman Alec Talanca (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) won at 165 pounds, pinning Matthew Shields in 4:04.

Freshman John Hooper (Hanover, Pa./Hanover Area) enjoyed a 14-6 win over Frank Cincotta at 184 while freshman Nick Hannon earned his first win at 285, pinning Diego Orellana at 2:17. Hannon also picked up an exhibition win as well as freshman Cameron Smith (East Orange, N.J./St. Benedict's Prep), both defeating Quentin Kromirs.

Versus the Wildcats, Celenza pinned Colin Jens in 2:24 at 141 pounds while Bronzburg earned a 7-3 win over Jesse Walker at 149. Jones enjoyed a 16-1 technical fall win (2:52) over Alec Dickey while Hooper earned a 3-2 victory over Colin Browne at 184.

The Giants will prepare to compete in the Kalahari Duals hosted by Heidelberg University in Sandusky, Ohio on Saturday, Dec. 15, starting against Wisconsin Oshkosh at 9 am.
