Scott Ties All-Time Wins Record in 8-1 Women’s Tennis Loss at Cairn

Box Score LANGHORNE, Pa. - Senior Devinne Scott (Scranton, Pa./West Scranton) tied the program record for most victories with a flight #1 singles win as the Keystone College women's tennis team fell at Cairn University 8-1 in CSAC play on Friday.

With the defeat, the Giants fall to 0-5 (0-4 CSAC) and Keystone will host Notre Dame of Maryland at Birchwood Tennis Complex tomorrow at 1 p.m. The Highlanders improve to 5-3 (3-1 CSAC). Cairn has won five straight against Keystone, with the last Giant victory on Sept. 21, 2013.

Scott won at flight #1, 6-1, 6-0, over Alyssa Peters. Scott now has 30 career overall wins (singles & doubles), which is tied for most all-time in program history with Heather Godino (2008-11), Julia Sherry (2009-12) and Rebecca (Seager) White (2012-15).

Freshman Mia Capalongo (Taylor, Pa./Riverside) fell at flight #2 singles, 6-2, 6-0, to Maya Neal.

At flight #1 doubles, Scott and Capalongo fell to Peters and Neal, 9-7.
