Bronzburg Goes 2-0; Wrestling Falls to King’s & Scranton

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Keystone College wrestling team fell to the University of Scranton & host King's College on Friday evening.

The Giants fell to the Royals 43-5 before a 37-17 defeat to the host Monarchs.

Junior Colby Bronzburg (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg) went 2-0 at 149 pounds, earning a 16-1 decision versus the Royals' Dante Simeti before a 16-0 decision over Colby Spencer of King's.

At 165, freshman James Geiger (Dallas, Pa./Dallas) went 1-1, enjoying a pin against Kade Kravits of King's. In addition, freshman Clayton Shaw (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) earned a forfeit win at 125 versus the Monarchs.

Keystone will now train for the NCAA Mideast Regionals held at Ithaca College from Feb. 29 - March 1.
