Women’s Basketball Shears Centenary in Late-Season Non-Conference Road Win

The Giants maintained strength to take a 74-67 affair Monday night.

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Keystone women's basketball team maintained strength to shear Centenary, 74-67, Monday night in a late-season non-conference matchup at the John M. Reeves Student Recreation Center.

The Giants twice built up to as large of a lead as 12 points, but a late third-quarter 14-2 run on 4-of-6 three-point shooting by the Cyclones made it a 50-50 ballgame.

Keystone never faltered as it maintained its lead even as narrow as just one point past the mid-way mark of the fourth quarter as Abby Ritz (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock Area) found Mac Oribello (San Diego, Calif./Westview) for an inside layup to start a 10-4 run to close out the game.

With the win, Keystone (12-4 CSAC) improved to 15-7 overall to wrap up its non-conference slate even at 3-3.

Centenary (0-9 Atlantic East) fell to 7-11 overall.
