WILKES-BARRE, Pa.- The Keystone College wrestling team opened the 2023-24 season at the Ned McGinley invitational Saturday morning hosted by King's College (Pa.).
Malachi Jones (Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown) picked up two wins on the day which included a thrilling 19-18 win by decision over Jorryn Parson from York. Nero Bono (Southboro, Mass./Assabet Valley) and Quinton Frampton (Waynesboro, Pa./Waynesboro), and Rocco Arduini (Harpursville, N.Y./Harpursville) also recorded two wins. Louis Frisenda (New Buffalo, Pa./Susquenita), Derrick DeMann (Montrose, Pa./Montrose Area), and Mariano Monacelli (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) grabbed a victory in the tournament.
Keystone wrestling will prepare for their home opener as they host Lackawanna College in a dual meet tomorrow morning (Nov.5) at 11 a.m.
