WILKES-BARRE, Pa.- The Keystone College wrestling team competed in the King's College Tri-Meet Saturday morning at McGrane Gymnasium. The tri-meet featured the host school, King's College (Pa.) and New Jersey City University.
The Giants defeated New Jersey City 30-24 and suffered a 49-6 loss to King's.
CJ Riccobono (New Hyde Park, N.Y./New Hyde Park Memorial) and Dalten Klinges (Nicholson, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) captured wins by fall against NJCU at 157 and 174 pounds respectively. They achieved multiple wins by forfeit versus the Knights. In the match with King's, Malachi Jones (Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown) won by forfeit.
Rocco Arduini (Harpursville, N.Y./Harpursville), Codi Bomboy (Montrose, Pa./Elk Lake), and Nero Bono (Southboro, Mass./Assabet Valley) earned exhibition victories by fall. Click here for the result of today's tri-meet.
Keystone will be back on the mat in 2024 when they head to Penn College to compete in the Penn College Invite on Saturday, Jan. 6 at 10 a.m.
