LATHAM, N.Y.- The United East Conference released their all-conference teams for men's lacrosse Tuesday morning as Keystone had six players receive all-conference awards.
Cam Wallace (Okotoks, Alberta, Canada/Foothills Composite) and Ryan Smith (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) led the way as First Team All-United East recipients. Wallace scored a team high 51 goals, dished out 21 assists for 72 points this season. Smith was named first team all-conference for the second consecutive season as he had 39 goals and 12 assists for 51 points.
The Giants had four players named second team all-conference as Wilson Ingalls (Okotoks, Alberta, Canada/Holy Trinity Academy), Timmy Fisher (Trevose, Pa./Neshaminy), Chris Armas (Vancouver, Wash./Mountain View), and Joe Manfredo (Levittown, N.Y./General Douglas MacArthur) were selected for this honor.
Ingalls had a stellar first collegiate season in the blue and orange. The freshman attack scored 19 goals and added 20 assists. Fisher was a solid defender for the Giants as he caused 27 turnovers and recorded 41 ground balls.
Armas was named second team from the faceoff position. This season, he won 141 faceoffs attempts and tallied 103 groundballs. He also scored six goals in his first collegiate campaign. To wrap up the all-conference accolades, Manfredo was chosen as a second team selection as a short stick midfielder. The senior was a force on the field as he recorded 53 ground balls with 24 caused turnovers. He scored four times and added six assists this season.
