ITHACA, NY- The Giants set high marks at the Bomber Invite, showcasing multiple high finishes across both men's and women's events. Jahvani Vasquez (Bradenton, Fla./Southeast) and Jamilah Higgins (Cincinnati, Ohio/Purcell Martin) both continued to dazzle on their seasons for the Giants.
Corbin Robinson (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown Area) started the day out for the Giants, placing 16th place in the men's discus event. Robinson set a distance of 25.57. Jahvani Vasquez (Bradenton, Fla./Southeast) continued to showcase in the men's triple jump, tallying a fourth place finish with a distance of 11.42. Vasquez dazzled in the men's high jump event, claiming a first place finish with a height of 1.78.Â
The men's 400 meter race saw Marquez Stickland land in ninth place with a time of 54.61. Keystone saw their most athletes compete in the 100 meter race, seeing nine athletes take the event on. Evan Suraci (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) earned the highest marks, finishing in eighth place with a time of 11.71. Suraci continued to shine in the long jump event, placing second with a distance of 6.21. Vasquez finished in seventh place with a distance of 5.03. The final event on the men's side saw Stickland place sixth in the 200 meter race with a time of 24.07.
On the women's side, Indya Rogers (Leeds, Ala./Leeds) finished the 100 meter race in 11th place with a time of 14.89. Josie Evans-Grant (Anchorage, AK/Grace Christian) followed up closely behind with a time of 16.33. Jamilah Higgins (Cincinnati, Ohio/Purcell Martin) continued to shine on her 2026 campaign, placing sixth in the women's long jump with a distance of 4.22. Higgins took on the 200 meter race, finishing in 20th place with a time of 31.09.Â
The Giants return home for the first time this season to host the Keystone Tune-Up on April 25. The United East Track and Field Championships are slated for May 2 and May 3 at the Keystone College Turf Field Athletic Complex.
