Bloomsburg, Pa. – A 25-year wait ended on Sunday afternoon as Keystone College return to the wrestling mat as the Giants competed against a pair of Division I programs in Bloomsburg University's Nelson Field House. Competing at the varsity level for the first time since 1991 and also in its first NCAA competition, Keystone dropped a 44-4 decision to the Wildcats in Sunday's first match before falling to the host Huskies by and identical score line in its second competition of the day.
Zack LeBarron (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) posted a pair of wins on the day to lead the Giants (0-2), scoring major decision victories at 149 against both Davidson and Bloomsburg.
Match 1 vs. Davidson
In Saturday's first match against Davidson (1-0), the Wildcats opened with major decisions at 125 and 133 followed by a forfeit at the 141 pound class. LeBarron scored the Giants' first win at the NCAA level with a major decision at the 149 pound weight class, 11-2, but the Wildcats scored two technical falls, two major decisions, a pin, and a forfeit to close out the 44-4 win.

In Saturday's second match against Bloomsburg (2-0), the Huskies battled two a pair of decisions to open the contest, and following a forfeit, LeBarron picked up his second major decision of the day, a 14-4 triumph over Bloomsburg's Kevin Laubach. The Huskies picked up technical falls at the next four weight classes and added a forfeit decision and pin to pick up their second win of the day following a 35-0 shutout of Davidson.
