Brett Capps Named Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach

LA PLUME, Pa. –  After a thorough, nationwide search, Keystone College Director of Athletics, Ryan Novitsky, announced the hiring of new Head Men's Lacrosse Coach, Brett Capps, on Wednesday.


"I'm very excited to welcome Brett to Keystone," explained Novitsky. "His enthusiasm for the game is going to help the program succeed both on and off the field."


Capps comes to Keystone after a five-year stint as the Assistant for the Wake Forest University club lacrosse team.


 "I would like to thank Keystone College for giving me the opportunity to be the head coach of the men's lacrosse program and a part of the Keystone family," Capps expressed. "I am looking forward to meeting the team and changing the atmosphere of Giants lacrosse all around." 
 
"My wife and I are very thrilled to be part of such a welcoming atmosphere and to be able to raise our son in such a tight-knit community and can't wait to come back up north."
 
In addition, Capps assisted the varsity Davie County Schools Lacrosse program since 2016. 
 
Capps played collegiately at Roberts Wesleyan College from 2009-2013. 
 
Capps graduated from Roberts Wesleyan in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
