LA PLUME, PA- Hope Santana's four-year career with the Keystone College field hockey program was defined by record-setting production, leadership and a lasting impact on the Giants program.

As Keystone Athletics counts down to the 2026 Hall of Fame induction ceremony on October 9, the department will highlight one member of this year's Hall of Fame Class each Friday. This week, the series continues with Santana, who will be joined in the Class of 2026 by Malcolm Boone, Brian Slater and the 2016 Keystone baseball team.

Santana, a 2013 Keystone graduate, competed for the Giants from 2009 through 2012 and established herself as one of the most accomplished players in program history. She finished her career as Keystone's all-time leader in goals with 39 and assists with 28, leaving her name throughout the program's record book.

Her senior season in 2012 stands among the finest individual seasons in Keystone field hockey history.

Santana started all 18 games and set program single-season records with 19 goals, 12 assists and 50 points. She also recorded four game-winning goals and led the Giants with 113 shots, including 66 shots on goal.

Her performance throughout the season earned her CSAC Player of the Year honors, First Team All-CSAC recognition and Longstreth/NFHCA South Atlantic All-Region Second Team honors. She was also named CSAC Player of the Week on October 15 and earned a spot on the conference's Player of the Week Honor Roll twice.

Santana's production was not limited to her senior season. She led Keystone in goals in 2011 with 13 and led the Giants in assists in both 2010 and 2011. Prior to her senior campaign, she was also a two-time Second Team All-CSAC selection.

Her 19 goals and 12 assists from 2012 remain Keystone single-season records, while her career totals of 39 goals and 28 assists continue to stand as program records.

Beyond her accomplishments on the field, Santana also excelled in the classroom. She earned recognition on the CSAC All-Academic Team and was named to the NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad.

Following her time at Keystone, Santana moved to Orlando, Florida, where she began a career in education. She spent seven years teaching at a Title I elementary school before transitioning into district-level Multilingual Services, where she now supports schools, educators and multilingual learners.

The lessons Santana developed as a Keystone student-athlete — hard work, resilience, teamwork and leadership — have continued to shape her career and life beyond the field.

Santana has also maintained a lasting relationship with former Keystone head coach Kacy Manning and her family, whose support and guidance remained an important part of her life long after her playing career came to an end.

More than a decade after completing her collegiate career, Santana will now receive one of the highest honors from her alma mater.

Santana is set to be inducted into the Keystone College Athletics Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026 on October 9 at 5 p.m.

From her 39 career goals and 28 assists to her record-setting 2012 season and status as one of the most accomplished players in Keystone field hockey history, Santana's impact on Giants field hockey remains firmly established in the program's history.
