In the Alumni Spotlight series, former Keystone student-athletes share their experiences as a Giant. This interview was with David Strum '17, who was on the men's cross and track & field teams.

1. Since your time at Keystone, what have you done for a career?
"Currently, I'm working at Keystone as a Campus Safety Officer and volunteer my time at the College as an assistant cross country and track & field coach."

2. What advice do you have for current students at Keystone in terms of networking and career-building?
"Get to know your professors in the fields you are interested in. They may know job opportunities or people to get you on the right path. Also, take any chance you can at an internship. This is your best way to get your foot in the door in the field you are interested in, gain experience, and build network connections."

3. What is your fondest memory of Keystone?
"My fondest Keystone memory is my senior year. It was just before Thanksgiving and my friend's group and I wanted to have one last meal with each other as a family before leaving for break. So we decided on doing a Friendsgiving dinner of dishes that we all help make and prepare."

4. What did you learn most from sports?
"What I learned most from sports was how to manage my time and how to be a leader."

5. What were your favorite classes?
"My favorite classes were U.S. 1 & 2 with Kerry Roe."

6. Do you still keep in contact with former teammates & classmates?
"Yes, I still keep in touch with former teammates and classmates through group chats and fantasy leagues."
