DALLAS, Pa.- The Keystone College track and field team competed in the Misericordia Invitational Friday afternoon at Misericordia University.
Corey Scochin (Scott Township, Pa./Holy Cross) placed sixth in the 1500 meters with a final time of 4.50.77. He then took eighth in the 800 meters at 2:18.69. Quincy Jones (/) and Joshua Jones (Baltimore, Md./Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical) came in 14th and 15th respectively in the 100 meters. The Jones's then added an eighth and 10th place finish in the 200 meters. Alex Simpson (Bay Shore, N.Y./Bay Shore) finished ninth in shot put with a mark of 10.03m.
For the women, Alexandra Thornton (Clarks Summit, Pa./Abington Heights) competed in the 200 meters and locked in a time of 34.03 seconds.
The Giants will now gear up for the United East Conference Track & Field Championships which is set to start May 4 at Penn State Behrend.
