The 1977 Keystone College women's field hockey team was the first Keystone varsity athletic team to reach the championship game of a national final, accomplished in November 1977 at Essex County College in Maryland.

The team won its first four contests of the 1977 campaign before tying Middlesex Community College, a game that ended Middlesex's 16-game national win streak, as the Giants wrapped up regular season play with a mark of 9-1-1.  The offensive juggernaut outscored opponents by a 48-9 margin during the regular season and 60-17 for the year.
The team entered the NJCAA Region XIX Championships as the third seed and swept both matches in the championships to claim the title. Five Keystone players were selected to the All-Tournament team, including Marcia Siddons who was named the regional MVP.

In addition, four players received Region XIX All-Region recognition for their play throughout the year.  The team entered the National Tournament as the top seed, turning in a mark of 2-1 and advancing to the title tilt.
