Lori Crawford Baltruchitis ’86 is recognized for her outstanding contributions as a three sport athlete, excelling in field hockey, basketball, and softball.  Lori was an instrumental part of all three of her teams and was named Keystone’s Outstanding Athlete in both 1985 and 1986.

During the fall seasons of 1984 and 1985, Lori led the Giants field hockey team and was named Second Team All-Region both seasons while captaining the squad in 1985.  Both years, Lori made the quick transition onto the basketball court where she led Giants to a Regional Tournament appearance in 1986.  A defensive stalwart and team captain of the 1985-86 team, Lori currently ranks 10th all-time in Keystone history with 3.0 assists per game average.

While at Keystone, Lori never enjoyed an “offseason” as she would take to the softball diamond in the spring of 1985 and 1986 where she ranks second all-time in career triples.  Lori went on to continue her softball career at Millersville University where she went on to earn her B.S. in Education.

Lori may not have had the biggest numbers, but she played her hardest and gave it all for her team; diving for a loose ball, sliding into a base to break up a double play, or going for an early morning workout if she had to miss practice that day.

Lori, who earned a Presidential Scholarship at Keystone, went on teach kindergarten until her children were born.  After recently moving to Rhode Island from Pennsylvania, Lori coaches youth softball, basketball, and soccer teams, serves as a Girl Scout leader and Sunday school teacher, and is active in the autism community.
