Doreen (Hine) Howard '86 is recognized for her outstanding accomplishments on the basketball court and the softball diamond. 

During her junior college career, Howard firmly established herself in the all-time record books of both programs. On the hardwood, she was named as a NJCAA First Team All-Region selection following the 1985 and 1986 seasons, with her 1986 squad qualifying for the Region playoffs. 

Howard holds the Keystone Junior College marks for most points in a season (424); second most points in a season (410); most points in a career (834); points per game career average (25.2); points per game season average (28.2 - '84-85); most points in a game (42); and most career rebounds (352).  She also holds the fourth spot for points per game season average (22.7 in '85-86); and fourth most rebounds in a season (182).  

In the softball record books, Howard holds the junior college mark for RBI in a career with 64, a total that also ranks second overall in the history of the program.  She holds the top spot (34 - '85) and the second spot (30 - '86) for RBI in a season; is first all time on the junior college list in career home runs (7); home runs in a season (4 - '86) and at bats in a career (150) and in a season (82).  She ranks second all-time on the junior college list and sixth overall for career hits (63); second for hits in a season (34 - '86), as well as fourth for hits in a season (29 - '85).  She is third all-time on the junior college and overall list for triples in a career (7); and is fourth all time on the junior college and overall list for triples in a season (4 - '86). 

Howard also holds the record for the second highest career batting average during the junior college era (.420), which also ranks fifth overall.
