Evans was a standout softball player for the Giants from 2001-02 to 2004 and she also served as head coach during the 2012 season, leading the Giants to a 19-17 record (11-11 CSAC), including a postseason appearance. Evans is married to fellow Keystone Hall of Famer, Chris Homer '01.

Evans is all over the Keystone record book, as she is the all-time program leader with 43 career doubles and has the most doubles in a single season with 21 in 2002. Evans sported a career .470 batting average (third best all-time) while batting .512 in 2001 and .495 in 2002.

She is the program leader with 21 doubles during the 2002 season and is second with 17 doubles in 2001. Evans ranks second with seven triples in the 2002 season and finished with 12 career triples, ranking fourth in program history. Her 101 career runs scored ranks seventh most all-time while her 131 career hits rank ninth most.

Evans scored 40 runs in the 2001 season (second best all-time) and followed that with 33 runs in 2002 (ninth). She tallied 52 hits in 2002 (fourth most) and 48 hits in 2001 (eighth) and has the eighth most RBI in program history with 75.
