Keystone College Athletics

Competing under legendary Hall of Fame head wrestling coach Larry Fornicola, West was a two-time National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 19 champion in 1982 and 1983, becoming a two-time NJCAA national qualifier. He placed fifth at heavyweight in 1982 and was a team co-captain from 1982-83.

West posted a 58-9 overall record, going 12-2 in 1981-82 and 12-0 in 1982-83. He won five individual tournaments in 1981-82, including Keystone's Christmas Tournament, Juniata Invite, SUNY Delhi, and Region 19 Tournament.

After Keystone, West went on to Millersville University, where he majored in industrial technology. He is currently a project manager at Builders First Source.
